It all seemed like too much for Leo. He hadn't grown up with this like Reese had. It utterly broke his heart to think of how dead inside his friend was and the reasons behind that deadness. If he had been through that, he would have been dead inside and out. Not just bleak, but gone. He couldn't have survived it. He wasn't sure if he could survive it now, but he had to, for Aydin.
