fluctuationfeels: (Lion Cub Leo)
Hey! Heeey [Leo whispered just as loud as a whisper could go. He was fed up of throwing pebbles that his friend never seemed to notice. He guessed they weren't big enough to make a decent noise, but any bigger might break his window and he wasn't about to get into shit with Aydin's old man. No sir.]

Aydin! Git up. Come on.
fluctuationfeels: (I've been waiting for you)
[Same place as always. It was getting more and more familiar now as the weeks turned into months. Leo and Aydin were becoming part of the block. They were familiar faces now, instead of fresh and new. Familiar, but still beautiful.]
fluctuationfeels: (You're a god)
[There was no need for anything to make the night sweeter. They had each other and the grass under their backs as they lay in the uncut green looking up at the darkness of the sky. They had cigarettes that Leo had stolen from his mothers purse. It was a hot night, so their shirts they had long discarded somewhere or other. Now it was just them and their own world.]

♫ On and on, reckless abandon
Something's wrong
This is gonna shock them
Nothin' to hold on to
We'll use this song
To lead you on
An' break the truth
With more bad news
We left a scar
Size extra large ♫

[Leo sang lazily into the night with Aydin joining in occasionally. That was until the sound of footsteps in the grass silenced them.]
fluctuationfeels: (The look)
Will you quit crowding me? You're making me sweat. [Leo shoved his friend away from his back as he dealt with their new front door. Fucking thing looked like the entrance to roach motel. The other doors were pretty much the same at least. They were all in the same crumby boat.]

Now, don't talk to anyone or do anything stupid okay? [Leo scolded as he tried his key in the second of the fourteen locks on their new front door.] Just keep an eye on things. If this key doesn't work we'll just have to break it down.
fluctuationfeels: (From the side)
[Leo was quiet when he came inside. The apartment they'd barely had a week was hardly coming together and it definitely didn't feel like home. At least it had a bed and some furniture already in it. Who knew how many people had fucked or pissed or even died on the mattress, but it was better than nothing.

When he saw Aydin, home started to fall into place around him. His friend had been waiting anxiously no doubt. He knew where he'd been.]

I got two hundred dollars.

[He said it before Aydin could ask if he was okay. It had meant to sound like good news, but he could hear in his own voice there was no excitement. The time he'd spent with the client had been really really hard. He wasn't sure if he could keep doing this.]
fluctuationfeels: (Default)
They had their own spot. It changed up every so often, depending on how many cops were around or how many street walkers there were on any given night.
